Just in case we need to add a WYSIWYG block to every page. We can hide this in the meantime.

In a complex and ever-changing economic environment, a focus on lifelong learning and pathways into and through the workforce is more important than ever. This requires high quality and accessible career information and advice, both in a school context for young people and across our population more broadly.

The importance is more than just helping people choose a career or training pathway. Quality careers information and advice plays a critical role in driving apprenticeship commencements and completions, ensuring pipelines of skills and workers into our most critical industries, driving the skills uplift Australia needs for productivity and competitiveness, and more.

This webinar highlighted the importance of quality career information and advice as a critical component of meeting industry skills needs by:

  • Showcasing how industries and regions are proactively partnering across the education and training ecosystem to support career and skilling pathways – and in doing so building their future workforce.
  • Highlighting how policy settings can support effective career information and advice, both locally and internationally.
