Where an employee has been dismissed by their employer, they may have the ability to make a claim for unfair dismissal to the Fair Work Commission (FWC).

The FWC will hear applications from employees to determine whether the termination was harsh, unjust and unreasonable. The result of a successful claim will either be reinstatement or provided compensation.
