For nearly a full decade, the Essential Eight has been the primary security framework for both Australian governments and businesses alike.
This in-person workshop is a deep technical dive into each of the Maturity Levels of the ACSC Essential Eight strategies. It focusses on helping attendees understand how the 152 controls can be implemented in their own environment.
For organisations working with Defence, the recent requirement to uplift their security from the “Top Four” at Maturity Level 1 to all eight strategies at Maturity Level 2, is a very significant change. There are very real challenges in implementing the full 107 controls outlined at Maturity Level 2. This course has been designed to help attendees do this in their own environment.
This workshop has been designed for IT managers and team members who are involved with or responsible for implementing the Essential Eight in their organisation. It is a technical course that will spend approx. 45 minutes working through each of the 8 strategies, particularly focussing on Maturity Levels 1 & 2, helping IT staff with guidance in deploying the controls across their organisation.
