Australian Industry Group has lodged a submission with the Department of Employment and Workplace Relations on the proposed Secure Australian Jobs Framework and amendments to the Commonwealth Supplier Code of Conduct.

The submission does not support the proposals, warning that they would create a parallel system of procurement-based workplace relations regulation, increase costs for suppliers and Government, constrain lawful workforce arrangements, reduce competition and supplier participation and weaken productivity and value for money.
