Australian Industry Group welcomed the opportunity to make a submission in relation to the Attorney-General's Consultation to strengthen Australia’s modern slavery framework.

We have considered the Consultation Paper in relation to the proposed criminal 'failure to prevent modern slavery offence' and note that feedback is only sought in relation to this issue. On that basis we have confined our submission to this issue but note our previous submissions as far as they may relate to the Government’s ongoing review of the Modern Slavery Act 2018 (Cth) .
