Australian Industry Group's Tracey Browne was recognised for her outstanding contribution to work health and safety last night.

Tracey, our Manager - National WHS & Workers' Compensation Policy, was honoured with WorkSafe Victoria's Outstanding Leadership and Contribution to Health and Safety award.

There have been only five recipients over the past 20 years. The award is given to those who demonstrate true excellence and dedication to making workplaces safer.

Tracey has worked with Australian Industry Group for nearly 25 years.

Last month, she announced her transition to retirement, which will take effect in July.

Cheering Tracey on at the WorkSafe Awards in Melbourne last night were (from left) Australian Industry Group's Kirsty Lablache, Kon Prantalos Tim Piper, Louise McGrath, Vivienne Filling and Bruce McKinley, along with Tracey's husband, Ross Pilkington.

“It was very special to be honoured in this way,” Tracey said.
