About the program

Australian Industry Group is delivering a program under the Advancing Gender Equality in Segregated Industries initiative. This initiative is designed to provide businesses in manufacturing and construction with practical tools, tailored training, and hands-on support to embed sustainable gender equality practices.

What You Will Gain

Participating businesses will receive one or multiple solutions including:

  • Tailored tools and templates - Policy examples, checklists, self-assessment tools, and implementation guides
  • Practical training programs - Covering inclusive leadership and team management, unconscious bias, inclusive recruitment, and legal obligations
  • Exclusive webinars, industry briefings, and case studies - Showcasing best practice in real workplaces
  • Ongoing coaching and implementation support - Delivered in person, virtually, and self-paced

Who Should Participate?

Eligible participants include:

  • Employers in the Manufacturing and Construction sectors
  • Businesses of all sizes:
    • Small: Up to 50 employees
    • Medium: 51–200 employees
    • Large: 200+ employees

The program includes two steps:

  • Step 1: Meeting with the Australian Industry Group project team to discuss your needs which will take place over a meeting during (August 2025 to September 2025).
  • Step 2: Receive tailored support to address unique organisational challenges and embed these solutions for lasting impact (October 2025 to March 2026)

Participation is free of charge, and the approach is tailored to businesses of different sizes and operational contexts.

  2. We schedule a discovery meeting (1 hour, online or in person) during August 2025 to September 2025
  3. You receive tailored support and access to resources from October 2025 to March 2026.
