Bruce McKinley is a work health and safety leader with experience across high-risk industries, organisational safety leadership, and national policy work. He has worked in operational safety roles in mining and construction environments and has led health, safety, and environment functions in complex organisations. Bruce has also been a senior leader with a work health and safety regulator, giving him a strong understanding of what "good" looks like in practice and what drives improvement on the ground. Earlier in his career, he served in the Australian Army.
Bruce now works as a Senior Adviser, National WHS Policy with the Australian Industry Group supporting employer-focused national WHS and workers' compensation projects and industry consultation linked to Safe Work Australia.
