Construction and associated industries workplace relations sector meeting

Australian Industry Group invites members to attend our upcoming workplace relations meeting for employers in the construction and associated industries.

This session will provide a concise update on recent significant workplace relations developments relevant to your sector, along with practical insights into the issues likely to affect employers in the months ahead.

It will also be an important opportunity for you to provide input on current Government workplace relations proposals impacting your sector. Your feedback will help inform Australian Industry Group's position and ensure employer perspectives are clearly represented.

Key topics will include:

• Discussion and consultation on potential new procurement requirements, as well as a proposed charter setting best-practice expectations for behaviour and conduct in the industry, including:
  • Potential Commonwealth standards for the construction industry
  • National Construction Industry Forum: Draft Joint Construction Industry Charter
• Update on the CFMEU under administration, including demarcation issues
• Union activity and enterprise bargaining
• Proposed Victorian labour hire changes
