You are invited to a face-to-face briefing focusing on the implementation of payday superannuation and recent changes to employee entitlements and what employers need to do in response.
WHY ATTEND
AustralianSuper will present on what the introduction of payday superannuation obligations from 1 July 2026 will mean for your business, and the support available, including alternatives to the ATO's Small Business Superannuation Clearing House (SBSCH) which closes from 1 July 2026. Attend this session to confirm what will change for your pay runs, what you need to update in systems and processes, what to do if errors occur and how the new rules will be enforced. The steps you take now will determine whether your business is compliant.
Understand WR compliance requirements: Australian Industry Group's Workplace Relations experts will provide an update on key employee entitlement obligations and current compliance focus areas, including domestic and family violence leave, unpaid parental leave and obligations relating to casual employees and contractors. Discuss with other Australian Industry Group members how they are responding to these requirements and strengthening their compliance practices.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND
This event is for anyone responsible for payroll, superannuation, workplace relations or HR compliance. Don't be caught unprepared. Note: You don't need to be a member of AustralianSuper (or have employees in AustralianSuper) to attend – the content is relevant for employers paying into any super fund.
This program has been funded by the Australian Government Department of Employment and Workplace Relations through the Productivity, Education and Training Fund grant program.
