Australian Industry Group welcomed the opportunity to make a submission to Safe Work Australia's Asbestos Framework Review examining how the model Work Health and Safety (WHS) laws can be strengthened to better control risks, support prioritised asbestos removal, and reduce asbestos-related diseases. The review is part of the third phase of the Asbestos National Strategic Plan 2024–2030 endorsed by the Commonwealth and all state and territory governments.
