On 15 July 2026, Australian Industry Group filed a submission in relation to a decision made by an Expert Panel of the Fair Work Commission in the Gender-based undervaluation – priority awards review – Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Industry Award 2010 concerning the Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Industry Award 2010 and the attached provisional draft determinations and draft order.

Australian Industry Group's position is that the lack of any Government funding commitment is a matter of critical relevance and importance in sectors that are highly reliant on funding. Without a full funding commitment from the Commonwealth, State and Territory Governments, there should be no material increases to minimum rates of pay under the Award.  We have also identified several technical and practical issues in the main draft determination.
