On 29 July 2026, Australian Industry Group filed a reply submission in response to the Decision, Notice of Intent and draft On-Demand Delivery Employee-like Worker Minimum Standards Order issued by the Expert Panel on 8 July 2026.

To the extent that Australian Industry Group has not sought to make submissions about all aspects of the draft order, this submission in reply is made on the pragmatic basis that the organisations amongst our membership who we understand would be covered by it are participating independently and that it will be subject to further review. We also recognise that the draft order largely reflects a consent position reached to reflect the specific circumstances of the Digital Labour Platform Operators that consent to its making. The submission should not be viewed as suggesting that our view is that a comparable approach should be taken in the context of other MSOs.
