On 1 March 2021 new regulations came into force which apply to those engaging owner drivers in the transport and forestry industries in Victoria.

The new regulations implement new record-keeping requirements, clarify the dispute resolution process for contractual disputes and prescribe infringement offences under the Owner Drivers and Forestry Contractors Act 2005 (Vic) (ODFC Act) and penalties for those offences.
